Schlumberger Foundation/Faculty for the Future

The Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future program award fellowships and supports women academics in science and engineering from developing and emerging countries for their advanced graduate study at top universities abroad.

LPDP (Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education)

For PhD candidates the Indonesian nationality who are not older than 40 and have graduated from an accredited Indonesian university or an overseas university acknowledged by the Indonesian Higher Education Directorate (DIKTI).

VIED (Vietnam International Education Development)

Vietnamese students can apply for fellowships provided by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training.

National Fellowships in Latin America

These fellowships are for nationals from:

World Bank Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program (RSMFP) 

This fellowship has two types of candidates in mind: (i) pre-doctoral fellows have completed a master’s level degree and are looking to gain research experience while preparing to apply for a PhD. (ii) Doctoral fellows are enrolled in a PhD program, have completed their coursework, and are looking to expand their research network by collaborating with World Bank researchers. Ideal doctoral candidates would like to pursue a career in development research, and will use the Fellowship to access new data sources and research opportunities.

RSMFP matches aspiring development economics researchers from developing countries with World Bank research economists, creating unique opportunities for the fellows to participate in rigorous policy-relevant research in the World Bank’s Development Economics Vice Presidency (DEC).

WFF EFN Russell E. Train Fellowships

Russell E. Train Fellowships support individuals pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree in conservation and related fields. Each year, WWF supports committed conservation leaders and scientists from target countries to receive financial support for their studies and research.
