English language requirements
All of IHE Delft's educational programmes and courses are taught in English. Thus it is vital that students and participants have an adequate level of spoken and written English.
Please note that the English language requirements for the Delft-based MSc, joint MSc and PhD programmes may be different. For the requirements for a joint programme, please check the website of the specific programme.
English language requirements MSc Programmes
IHE Delft does not require a language certificate from nationals from: Australia, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Canada, Cook Islands, Eswatini, Gambia, Ghana, Guyana, India, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, St Vincent and Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, UK, USA, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, provided that earlier education is taught in English and is finalised with a Bachelor degree.
English language requirements PhD Programme
IHE Delft does not require a language certificate from nationals from: Australia, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Canada, Cook Islands, Eritrea, Eswatini, Gambia, Ghana, Guyana, India, Ireland, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, St Vincent and Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, UK, USA, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, provided that earlier education is taught in English and is finalised with a master degree.

All applicants are strongly advised to self-assess their English language ability to discover if it matches the high standards required for Master's level study in English.
