Donating to IHE Delft
Capacity development is the most sustainable way to solve the global water problems and is the goal of all our activities. IHE Delft students learn not only how to solve technical problems but also how to understand water issues from an interdisciplinary viewpoint. They learn to work in multidisciplinary, diverse teams, and they gain essential leadership skills. Do you want to support us with a financial donation?
The challenge
The world is facing a water crisis caused by climate change, population growth, urbanization, industrialization and other factors. Billions of people still lack access to safe water supply and sanitation.
To address the crisis, water sector professionals with technical knowledge, a clear vision, and an ability to manage complexity as well as to mobilize resources and inspire others are needed.
Why IHE Delft?
IHE Delft is the largest international graduate water education institute in the world. Since the start in 1957, more than 25,000 water professionals from 190 countries have taken part in our education and training programmes, which span all water-related fields. A vast majority of our students come from Africa, Asia and Latin America. Together with Dutch and international partners, we offer high-quality education, including an MSc Programme in Water and Sustainable Development, a PhD programme, diploma courses, various short courses and online courses as well as customized training and capacity development, all within a uniquely international and interdisciplinary environment. People seeking to make an impact for water and the environment, including water professionals, scientists, engineers, practitioners, consultants, activists, decision-makers, change-makers and others come to IHE Delft to sharpen their ability to contribute to global sustainable development
