Alumni award

The Institute’s Alumni Award recognizes individuals who have made a particularly remarkable impact in a water-related field and who are role models for water professionals. The award was given for the first time in 2013 and resumed in 2022, following a pandemic-related hiatus 2020-2021.

The award honours diploma alumni who have helped improve communities’ quality of life through their work and inspired others to make an impact.

Are you or someone you know a suitable candidate? To nominate yourself or someone, complete and submit the registration form using this link including a motivation letter (max 500 words) and a CV by email to [email protected] no later than 30 June 2025. We welcome repeat submissions from candidates who have been nominated in the past but not won. The award winner will be notified in September and announced through the IHE Delft website and social media shortly thereafter.

The award includes a one-week trip to IHE Delft with travel and accommodation costs covered. The winner will be recognized during the November Opening of the Academic Year celebration and take part in a tailor-made programme at the Institute.
